Ideal Meat & Specialty Food is a regional wholesale distributor specializing in proteins, local grocery and food service items.
Founded in 1950 by Nathan Stein, Ideal Meat & Specialty Food has always been a cornerstone for meat distribution in Indiana and the surrounding states. Nathan valued his customers and strived to serve them at any cost. His proud legacy continues to this day.
We work hand-in-hand with our suppliers to select the best pork, beef, seafood and poultry to keep our customer’s cases well stocked. Because we are smaller and more agile, we deliver exceptional service and can adapt to our customer’s ever-changing needs.
